This Tiger L-2B is reproduced by "Buzz Rickson's" based on vintage jackets. The Light Zone series L-2B, adopted in the 1950s, was extremely popular among soldiers as a lightweight and athletic jacket. At the time of the Vietnam War, custom-made jackets were available locally for a very low price. The soldiers then would take the type of jacket they wanted to have made to tailors around the base and ask them to "make a jacket with the same design as this one using camouflage fabric. Thus, jackets with tiger stripes and leaf patterns began to be made and became very popular in all branches of the military, both land, sea, and air.
