Buzz Ricksons, which was founded in 1993, will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2023. Taking advantage of this turning point, Buzz Ricksons has taken on the challenge of layering two masterpieces using the wisdom and technology they have experienced over a long 30-year journey. Needless to say, this is an original jacket that uses authentic materials and first-class parts based on strict mil-spec specifications, and Buzz Rickson's innovative wisdom and ingenuity can be seen in key areas.
The M-51 parka was adopted in 1951, shortly after the outbreak of the Korean War, and at the same time a layer system was adopted to wear it over the uniform on the extremely cold Korean peninsula, and a removable liner was also included. Around the same time, in the early 1950s, the US Air Force developed a masterpiece of flight jackets, the MA-1.
