The reddish indigo color created by indigo warp and red weft is a traditional Japanese color called "Niai" （二藍）, and has been used for aristocratic clothing since the Heian period. Akane vegetable dyes. Akane is known for the oldest red dye. Antique obijime (kimono band) is used for the belt loop in the center of the back. This band is woven by hand one by one. It's very attractive and you feel the Japanese craftsmanship. Also, its designs are all different, so it is one and only. The denim is woven by Toyoda G3 which was made half century ago
