Velveteen Souvenir Jacket - Great Monster War - Black

This piece blends the traditional craftsmanship of a souvenir jacket with the well known Godzilla. This special edition jacket draws inspiration from the 1965 classic film The Great Monster War. The velveteen side features an embroidered scene of Godzilla battling King Ghidorah and Rodan, with Studio D’Artisan’s pig mascots, Indie and Clipper, reimagined as X aliens observing the fight. On the reverse, rayon side, the jacket depicts the chaos of Godzilla’s attack on Osaka (see Glico Man in the background), complete with pig characters fleeing the city in comedic fashion.
