The 2101 Jacket from Japan’s Full Count brand is a masterful example of the much loved Type-III Trucker. Following on from previous iterations of the denim jacket, the Type-III is cut to be a little slimmer in the body and arms, marking a departure from the early 20th Century’s boxy shape. The classic western style front has been featured on this design, along with two sewn in button flap pockets on the chest. Buttoned cuffs and waist epaulettes ensure the perfect comfort fit, whilst custom manufactured, branded flat top buttons have been used for the fastenings. This jacket has been hand sewn in Japan, using vintage sewing machines to ensure the best all round quality.
The denim is made up of hand picked Zimbabwean cotton which has been woven on vintage shuttle looms once used by the Levi Strauss company. Weighing in at 13.7 ounces, this option has been rinsed to remove some of the excess shrinkage and to soften the denim for superb comfort right from the start.
