Mitchell pattern camouflage fabric was adopted as an official military standard for use on tents and helmet covers for a camouflage effect, but during the Vietnam War, jackets and trousers were produced locally. Because they are made to order, there are few of them, but there are several types. Like the frogskins used during World War II, it is a double-sided jungle and desert design, with a thick satin fabric on the jungle side and a thick satin fabric on the back, and this work is aged during the finishing process. This parka has a strong rolled seam and a placket on both sides to protect the reversible zipper.
