USN Watch Cap - Black

A knitted wool cap with a round seam on the top of the head was adopted as headgear for deck crew who were exposed to cold winds at sea. As the watch cap comes from, it is designed without a visor to keep it out of the way, as it uses binoculars to keep an eye on the enemy.
